The international flavour of the event continues to grow, with entrants travelling from Poland, Colombia, the United Kingdom and Ireland to join thousands of Australians for one of the most scenic and spirited runs in the country.
Race Director Richard Welsh said the 2025 edition marks a new high point for the event.
“It’s incredible to see Burnie buzzing again with runners from all over the world. The combination of elite racing, community fun runs, and a record field of over 3,000 shows how much people love being part of this event,” Welsh said.
“The hype around the Australian Championships here only adds to the prestige — and we can’t wait to see some of the country’s best go head-to-head on one of the fastest courses in Australia.”
The event features the Strait Link Burnie 10, Elphinstone 5km, and Liv Eat Kids Dash, ensuring something for everyone from elite athletes to first-time participants.
