Race Numbers

Race bibs must be clearly visible on the front of runner’s chest. Race bibs will be mailed out if requested but not after Wednesday, October 11 2017.

Entries received after this date need to collect their race bibs from Burnie City Council Offices, 80 Wilson Street prior to the race. Office hours are 9am – 5pm weekdays, 9am-3pm Saturday, October 21 and from 8am race day morning.

Race day entry and late bib collection should be made as early as possible on Sunday to ensure you make the start.

Race times and positions will be posted at B&E Burnie Ten and published in The Advocate on Monday, October 23 2017.


Available en route at the Water Stations at approximately 3, 5 and 7 km marks and at the finish line.

Additional information

Any runner crossing the finishing line without entering or without completing the full course may be subject to legal action. All runners must stay in the right hand lane of the highway at all times. At the completion of the race, runners should proceed to the recovery area immediately.

Bikes, roller skates, roller blades, inline skates, skate boards, scooters, performance enhancing devices and pets are not permitted.

For safety reasons non-elite and assisted wheelchair entrants, walkers and prams are advised to start at the rear of both the 5km and 10km fields. At the discretion of Tasmania Police, the course will remain open as long as practically possible.

Elite Wheelchair competitor registrations close on the evening of the Wednesday (four days) before race day. Competitors must provide evidence of a qualifying time of completing 10,000 metres in under 30 minutes to be eligible to compete.
