Race Information - Course Map & Route

The course is a fast out and back course on dual lane highway. North of Wilson and Cattley Street intersection, opposite B&E Ltd, proceeding south along Wilson Street to Bass Highway. Then east to the 5km turning point returning via Bass Highway and Wilson Street to start-finish line.

Seeded (elite) runners are permitted to start at the front of the assembly area. Runners must stay in the right hand lane of the highway at all times.

Walkers are advised to start near the rear of the field to ease congestion at the start of the race. The course will remain open subject to Tasmanian Police approval until the last competitor finishes.

Any runner crossing finishing line without entering or without completing the full course may be subject to legal action. Runners must leave the finish line area immediately and proceed to Recovery Area in Wilmot Street.

Cycles, roller skates, roller blades, inline skates, skate boards, scooters, or performance enhancing devices, audio devices (eg. MP3 players), pets, etc. are not permitted on the course.
