Race Information - B&E321-GO kids’ race
The 2009 B&E321-GO Kids' race will be held on Sunday, October 25 at Burnie's West Park Oval.
The event was originally established as a safe alternative to children competing in the Skilled Burnie Ten. The B&E321-GO kids’ race, offers children aged between five and 13 the chance to participate in a running event in a top Coastal Arena and over a distance appropriate for their age; hence three categories were introduced with different distances (3km, 2km, 1km).
This year will mark the 10th Anniversary of the B&E321-GO kids’ race and from its outset it has experienced and maintained an incredible growth in competitors. In its inaugural year (2000), the event made an immediate impact attracting 719 children.
Year on year the B&E321-GO kids’ race breaks records for competitor numbers & this year it is anticipated that over 1500 children will register for the event.
